We are the lucky ones. No doubt about it. I gave up Thanksgiving with great relief when I moved to England, so no formalities here, but remain aware that I have many many things to be thankful for. The enduring love for (and from) my husband Ray being one of the most important.

Too cute, indeed. Debbie is an especially beautiful woman. She looks not a day over thirty-five.

But gratitude is, imo, a muscle. That grows stronger with regular use. And withers when the mind dwells overmuch in fear, anger, and delusion. Thanksgiving as such, is the penultimate American holiday, to collectively remind us of the exceptional opportunities that bless us in this bountiful land.

This makes me so happy. A happy marriage is hardly clickbait, but I can't imagine anything I value or appreciate more.

I love this—proof that the best gratitude is the kind that sneaks up, grabs you by the heart, and refuses to be scheduled between appetizers. You two are beyond cute. May all of us get at least one unscripted, ‘oh wow, this is my person’ moment this holiday season.

"and it would be as hard for us to count the kisses we give each other in an hour as the flowers of a field in the month of May."

Happy Thanksgiving.

That is BEAUTIFUL. I'm not USA but I felt real gratitude this morning towards Heaven and God because I live among Honest People. I do and I felt that. Festivus, and why not? All festivals, rituals and ceremonies were 'designed' by some people or other even if God inspired them. I'm not a nice person and I've stopped even trying to pass as one so I hope you dont mind me too much sneaking under the wire! Honest people are challenging but you know where you are.
