David, this is a beautiful piece. Thank you! My view of both Churchill and Chaimberlain are changed. A favorite professor of mine in undergraduate school instilled in me this piece of Christian doctrine: Original Sin is having to make decisions for which we can not know the consequences. Your essay makes that truth beautifully real for me.

Fair enough. I mean I don't expect your personal life story and home address, I don't even care if you're using a pen name, but, there's a huge amount to be read (one might say infinite) on this here Internet and....... well, you know, mortality and all that.
